Archived Industry News: 2003AnnouncementsEUB’s Revised Guide 56 Becomes Effective TodayThe October 2003 edition of Guide 56: Energy Development Applications and Schedules comes into effect on October 1, 2003 replacing all previous editions and versions of Guide 56. The October 2003 edition incorporates all the revisions and changes made since the Guide's inception in June 2003. The EUB is providing a transition period from October 1, 2003, to March 31, 2004, in recognition that it may take some time for applicants to become familiar with and fully integrate all of the changes, particularly during the winter season when increased application activity occurs. GB 2003-23 provides a summary of Guide 56 clarifications and changes as well as a discussion of the transition measures adopted for the October 2003 edition of Guide 56. Copies of the October
